On this Friday, we wanted to share a quick blog post about a recent success story.
Back in May, we worked with a nonprofit missionary organization to apply for a H-1B Work Visa for one of their new regional directors (who was from the UK). This was a complex situation considering the way the organization typically had their missionaries raise their own support.
However, we were able to work with them to marshal the evidence we needed to have him approved for his H-1B Visa–right before the quota of H-1B Visas filled up in May!
Just recently, he went back to the UK to go through his interview with the U.S. Embassy in London, and was fully approved for his initial 3-year H-1B Work Visa. We were excited to hear that this process had worked out so well for him and this nonprofit organization–especially after the hours of hard work put in by him, his HR Director, and us in crafting a petition that included as much evidence as possible.
This process took months to complete, so if you may be thinking of applying for a work visa under next year’s quota, come talk to us now. We can get started on the process so that you can get your petition filed in time to get a spot before the quota fills up.
